There are many features that make Evernote a great tool for real estate agents.Before helping a client buy or sell a home, real estate agents must first keep their own organizational houses in order. Also, how many times have you been on the go and a client called asking a question about their file? With Evernote, instead of having to wait until you get back to the office or struggling to load documents on your phone’s internet browser, you can simply go to their notebook, locate what you need, and answer their question quickly, probably while still on speakerphone. User friendly mobile app: Evernote’s app for your phone works almost exactly like the desktop version so the learning curve is small. No more opening ten different programs searching for one document. However, if something was misplaced, you should be able to find it by searching some key words in the search bar at the top of the application. Obviously if you filed everything into Evernote perfectly, it should be easy to go into the the client’s notebook and find what you need.
Scannable then gives you the option to select which Evernote notebook you want the scan to go into!Įasy to find information later: One of my other favorite benefits of Evernote is the search feature. Simple scanning integration: Evernote works with another app called Scannable, which allows you to scan documents directly into PDF’s from your phone. How helpful would this be when the other agent tries to say you didn’t send the survey on time?🧐 By giving you a specific Evernote email address, Evernote gives you the ability to forward ENTIRE emails, including attachments, recipients and time stamps straight into Evernote and file them to the specific client notebook.
Being able to keep EVERYTHING related to a client in one place is probably my favorite function of this platform.Ībility to save entire emails: While you probably don’t delete emails, it can be very difficult to locate a specific email just by searching your archive inbox.
We’ve all been there! One of the best parts about Evernote is you can create a note in the app just as quickly as writing it down and save it to THE SPECIFIC CLIENT FILE! How helpful is that?!Ībility to store variety of different file types: While you likely already have an online platform or CRM where you save your compliance documents, where do you save photos, receipts or emails the client sent to you? Evernote can store anything from audio files to word documents to pictures. One of the worst parts about losing paper? Losing that VERY important note you jotted down on the back of an MLS printout.
